a. How far is the voice recognition distance of the Hearable Glasses? In a quiet environment, the glasses can support a pickup distance of 5 meters.
b. What is the accuracy of the voice recognition for Hearable Glasses? Under standard Mandarin speaking conditions and in a quiet environment, the accuracy of voice recognition within 1 meter is over 92%. In an environment with around 80dB noise, the accuracy is over 82% within 1 meter.
c. Which languages are supported by Hearable Glasses? Hearable Glasses support the recognition of Mandarin Chinese and English.
d. What is the delay in voice recognition for Hearable Glasses? In a stable network connection and quantified signal environment, the delay for speech-to-text display is within 1 second.
e. How much data usage does the use of Hearable Glasses typically consume? Hearable Glasses and the Transcriber App utilize audio compression technology for continuous speech transcription. It consumes approximately 15MB of data per hour.
f. What is the battery life of Hearable Glasses? Hearable Glasses can last up to 2 hours under typical usage scenarios (with screen brightness at 50%, good signal strength, uniform speech rate, and alternating transcription and sleep). They can also support simultaneous charging and usage (with a connected power bank).
g. Are Hearable Glasses waterproof? No, the product is not waterproof. Do not immerse it in water or clean it with running water. Avoid using it in the rain. When cleaning is required, use a dedicated eyeglass cloth, a soft damp cloth, or alcohol-free wet wipes for gentle wiping.
2. Wearing
a. Can Hearable Glasses be used in any situation? Do not use the product in situations that require high attention or during physical activities (e.g., driving, crossing the road, running, jumping rope) to avoid danger or damage to the device.
b. I usually wear glasses. Can I use Hearable Glasses? Yes, you can. Find the included lens frame in the package and take it to an offline optical store for optometry and lens fitting. Then install the fitted lenses on the inner side of the Hearable Glasses. *Note: Do not directly attach the Hearable Glasses to your own glasses to avoid damage.
c. I usually wear cochlear implants or hearing aids. Can I use Hearable Glasses? Yes, you can. Hearable Glasses adopt a wireless design that does not interfere with the wearing and use of cochlear implants or hearing aids. However, if you wish to use the Hearable Glasses while charging, please handle the glasses with care when putting them on or taking them off to avoid damaging your cochlear implants or hearing aids.
d. The glasses feel loose when I wear Hearable Glasses. What should I do? Find the included padding in the package and follow the instructions to install it at the hinge of the temple. The glasses come with two types of padding that can be adjusted to three levels to adapt to the curvature of the temple by attaching or detaching the padding.
e. I can't see the complete display screen. What should I do? Follow the instructions to adjust the nose pad of the glasses to change the position of the display screen in front of your eyes. By moving the screen higher or lower, you will be able to see the complete screen.
f. Can minors use Hearable Glasses? This product is only intended for individuals aged 16 and above.
g. Does wearing the glasses produce radiation? Hearable Glasses have obtained national CCC certification and comply with safety requirements. The radiation emitted is much lower than that of common smartphones, so you can use them with confidence.
3. First-time Use
a. Where should I download the Transcriber App? You can search and download the "Transcriber" app from your phone's app store.
b. Which smartphones are compatible with the Transcriber App and Hearable Glasses? The Transcriber App is compatible with smartphones running Android 10 or higher, or iOS 11 or higher.
c. Hearable Glasses cannot connect to the phone via Bluetooth. What should I do? Ensure that both your AR glasses and phone are powered on, the screens are active, and Bluetooth is enabled. Open the "Transcriber" app on your phone, go to the Bluetooth pairing page, and follow the prompts to complete the pairing. If you have previously connected other Hearable Glasses, open the Bluetooth settings on your phone and delete the previously connected Hearable Glasses.
d. Hearable Glasses cannot connect to a wireless network. What should I do? Make sure your wireless network supports communication in the 2.4GHz frequency band. If your wireless network distinguishes between 5GHz and 2.4GHz, connect to the 2.4GHz network (usually, the 5GHz frequency band has a "5G" suffix in the same network name, while the 2.4GHz band does not have a suffix). If the AR glasses are connected to a mobile hotspot, open the hotspot settings on your phone and enable "Maximum Compatibility" or set the hotspot network to the 2.4GHz frequency band, ensuring that the hotspot network can be joined by other devices.
e. Hearable Glasses cannot be activated. What should I do? Make sure you purchased the Hearable Glasses from an authorized LILY customer channel and ensure that there is a smooth network connection and normal Bluetooth connection between your phone and the glasses during the activation process.
4. Troubleshooting
a. The Hearable Glasses cannot display the text for voice translation. What should I do? Please check your wireless network connection to ensure that the network being used by the Hearable Glasses is functioning properly.
b. The Hearable Glasses are powered on, but the Transcriber App shows that the glasses are not connected to the phone. What's the issue? When the screen of the Hearable Glasses is turned off, they automatically enter sleep mode to conserve power. Simply turn on the glasses screen and bring them close to your phone, and the Bluetooth connection between the glasses and the phone will be automatically restored.
c. The real-time conversation records from the Hearable Glasses cannot be synchronized to the phone. What should I do? To synchronize real-time conversation records to your phone, please keep the Transcriber App open on your phone and ensure that the phone screen remains on and the Bluetooth connection between the glasses and the phone is stable while using the Hearable Glasses for speech-to-text translation.
d. The Hearable Glasses cannot be powered on. What should I do? Pay attention to the indicator light next to the power button on the glasses. If the indicator light flashes three times after pressing the power button, it indicates that the glasses have insufficient remaining power and need to be charged to continue using them.
e. The Hearable Glasses cannot be charged. What should I do? Please check if your charger and charging cable are correctly connected. To ensure normal and safe charging, we recommend using the provided charging cable and a charger with a rated output power of not less than 5V/2A to charge the glasses.
f. The Hearable software update is encountering issues and cannot be used properly. What should I do? Please follow the instructions in the user manual. Press and hold the power button and function button simultaneously to perform a factory reset. If the issues persist after the factory reset, please contact LILY Vision customer support for assistance.
5. Other Questions
a. Will depending on subtitle glasses for a long time affect my communication skills? On the contrary, you don't need to worry at all. By using the Hearable Glasses for an extended period, you can better understand information, thereby helping you make progress in your communication skills.
b. Can I use the Hearable Glasses when there is no network connection? When there is no network connection, you can still use the offline voice recognition capability of the Hearable Glasses. However, for a better speech-to-text experience, we suggest you to use the online version of voice service.
c. Can I use the Hearable Glasses without connecting to a phone? Yes, the Hearable Glasses can be used independently without connecting to a phone.
